Sankana (U/W), Aug. 16, GNA – Mr Wilbert Dogoli, Northern Regional Director of the Community Water and Sanitation Agency, was on Friday inaugurated as a Chief of the Dankana Division in the Kaleo Traditional Area in the Upper West Region.

The 48-year old chief who would lead his people with the skin name Naa Yelkuma Dogoli Bagah II succeeded his late uncle Naa Saakoe Kungbeli Mornah II, who died in May 2001.

Speaking to newsmen at Sankana in the Nadowli District after the brief ceremony, Naa Bagah said his topmost priority would be to reunify his people and eliminate all forms of frictions within the area.

He said he would sample opinions of the people and bring everyone on board to initiate programmes that would benefit the people.

The area, he said had untapped tourism potentials and could also boast of one of the largest dams in the region which was under utilised. All these would receive his attention during his reign, he stated.
