A seven-member Board of Directors of the Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA), are in Sunyani for a six-day familiarisation visit of the Agency’s piped-water systems project areas in the Brong-Ahafo Region.
A letter signed by Alhaji Ahmed Ewura, Regional Director of the Agency and copied to Ghana News Agency in Sunyani said, the team would familiarise themselves with some completed and on-going Rural and Small Towns Water projects in the communities to be visited.
The visit would also offer the team the opportunity to share some field experiences of the performance of the Water Systems and Institutional Latrines with the district authorities, chiefs/elders as well as Water and Sanitation Management Teams.
The selected towns include Duayaw-Nkwanta in the Tano North District, Kajeji and Bassa in the Sene East District, Kintampo in the Kintampo North Municipality, Tuobodom in the Techiman North District, Nkaseim in the Asutifi South District and Goaso in the Asunafo North Municipality.
Meanwhile, the team led by Nana Danso Agyei II, Board Chair of the Agency has paid a courtesy call on the Regional Minister, Mr Eric Opoku at the Regional Coordinating Council where they officially announced their presence and purpose in the Region.
