curfew has been imposed at Kpatinga

A curfew has been imposed at Kpatinga in the Gushiegu district of the Northern region. This followed a rampage by the youth of the area as a result of double enskinment of two different chiefs for the same skin in the area. The Kampakuyana Abdulai Andani of the Andani gate and Bolinlana Abdulai Mahamadu of the Abdudu gate installed the chiefs resulting in the rampage. In an interview with Mr Moses Bukari Maagbingba, Northern regional Minister, he said ‘it is a fact that a curfew had been imposed’ and a joint military and police contingent have been deployed in the area to ensure peace and order.
