Mr. Jorges Risquet Valdes, a member of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party, today described DR Kwame Nkrumah as one of the greatest men of this century. Mr. Risquet said the shedding of Cuban blood on the continent was nurtured by the ideals of Nkrumah. He said fortunately, President Jerry Rawlings is continuing with the ideas of Nkrumah.
