Credit Union members must embrace voter registration exercise

The Manager of the ILO Edwumapa Cooperative Credit Union, Mr Kingsley Arkoh-Sam, has advised members of the Union to endeavour to register in the biometric voter registration exercise.

Mr Arkoh-Sam said that, it was the only way they could secure a passport to vote in December general election.

He was addressing a group of shareholders of the Union amongst which are fishermen, fishmongers, dressmakers and artisans, as part of the Easter festivities at Winneba.

Mr Arkoh-Sam urged them to put aside all partisan issues and embrace the biometric programme geared towards the promotion of democracy.

He warned them against double registration, reminding them that such actions could land them in jail.**
