CPP to win Election 2004

Tamale, Nov. 12, GNA – Mr Albert Atutiga, a leading Member of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) has predicted the victory of the Party in the December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary elections. He said the massive support of the CPP in every community he had visited on campaign tours was an indication of an eventual electoral victory.

Mr Atutiga was speaking during political rallies in the Upper East Region where he addressed enthusistic supporters of the party at Sandema; Paga; Chiana; Navrongo; Bolgatanga; Nabdam, Talensi. He stressed: “This year is CPP year”.

Mr Atutiga said it was only the CPP that could articulate the development aspirations of the people and appealed to members and supporters of the Party to campaign vigorously to win the mandate of the people in Election 2004.

He called on the electorate, to critically examine the electoral messages of the political parties, before deciding on which candidates to vote.

He said members and supporters of the political parties should also desist from attacking their political opponents.
