Accra, Dec. 7, GNA – The Convention People’s Party (CPP), is yet to take a decision on which of the two leading political parties – the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Party (NDC) to support in case of a presidential round of.
Dr Edmund Delle, Chairman of the CPP told the Ghana News Agency, after casting his vote at the Emmanuel Eye Clinic Polling Station in the Ayawaso West Wuguon Constituency that the decision would be made by the Central Committee of the Party in consultation with the ordinary people. The Chairman said although NPP and NDC have ideologies different from the CPP, there could common grounds on which the crucial decision would depend on.
“We will only align ourselves with a party that is sympathetic to our course”, Dr Delle said.
