Kumasi, Aug. 10, GNA – The Convention People’s Party is the only credible alternative party that could redeem the country from its present economic situation to prosperity, the Party’s Youth have said. A statement signed by Mr Akwasi Bosompem Boateng and Bernard Kwabena Adams, Youth Secretary and Treasurer, respectively, said under the able leadership of Mr George Aggudey, its Flag Bearer, the CPP would redeem the country from its present economic situation.
”We have done it before and we have the men capable of doing the same thing if the Party is voted into power.”
It said CPP had lived through thick and thin and against all odds to be where it was now and that the Party would pursue pragmatic programmes that would benefit all sections of the society but not the few elites.
The statement said the CPP was a mass party and, therefore, called on the youth, who had a greater stake in the affairs of this country, to rally behind the Party to win the December polls to give them hope for the future.
