Kumasi, Jan. 21, GNA – Ms Samia Yaba Nkrumah, National Chairman of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), has invited “true and loyal” members of the party to commit resources both financially and materially to support its activities.
“We must share in the burden of financing the Party to promote its smooth running. We need to stand up in dignity and contribute their bit to the growth and vibrancy of the party. The time where an individual is seen to be the sole financier should be a thing of the past and no longer should any individual be seen to own the party.”
She was addressing a meeting with the party’s constituency executives in the Ashanti Region, in Kumasi on Saturday.
Kwabre East and Obuasi were the only constituencies out of the 39 not represented.
