The Deputy Communications Director of the Convention People’s Party, Ernesto Yeboah has called on the leadership of the party to select a leading member of the party, Professor Agyemang Badu-Akosa as its vice-presidential candidate for the December elections.
The flagbearer, Dr Abu Sakara is expected to submit a name to the party by the end of the month.
Several bigwigs of the party have been proposed as potential running mates but Ernesto Yeboah in an interview with XYZ News, said Professor Badu-Akosa will make a fine vice president for Ghana and bring votes to the party in the elections.
“He is one of the finest politicians we have in this country. The attentions and details he brings to his work is something that we are all very much aware of.
“Professor Akosa is one who could bring back the spirit and bring back that confidence that the CPP needs to win power in this country”.
