The National Democratic Congress does not seem to have learned from the mistakes of the NPP Government , leading to the latters defeat at the December 2008 elections.
On Tuesday, 19 May 2009, we all read a report from a Ms Cynthia Mensa of Ghana News Agency entitled – ‘ Top Security Firm Arrives In Accra” , on Ghanaweb and other news outlets.
The security firm was named as Yahuda Security Management Consultin and led by Dr Ebenezer Tetteh (CEO). The report said further that is as a result of the recent visit to the UK of President J E Atta-Mills to assist national security agencies.
According to the GNA report ‘Senior Directors of Yahuda Security Consulting said the visit was initiated by President Atta-Mills to discuss with national security officials wide-ranging security matters, international trade in drugs including cocaine, illegal arms, armed robbery and links to possible terrorism’.
The CPP’s International Research Directorate in London as in the past saw this as a matter to be urgently investigated in the interest of mother Ghana.
‘Yahuda Security Management Consulting,” was described as a top United Kingdom security firm’ but our research at the UK Companies House revealed the date of incorporation of this supposed “Top Security Firm” as Wednesday 20th May 2009. Our research also revealed the companies address as located in a residential block of in Peckham, London:

Either the government of Ghana has been found wanting and naïve their “Hammersmith Hair Salon saga. Either way this is not good for the image of Ghana or governance in Ghana. A number of questions arise on the issue:
Does the NDC Government have any links with this company? If not did the NDC Government not carry out any checks on this company? If Not how does it allow a company it knows nothing about to be described as a “ Top Security Company” ?
There are questions for the NDC Government to answer and Ghana expects the truth.
