CPP executive inaugurated at Breman Asikuma

Breman Asikuma (C/R), Sept. 1, GNA – A 21-member executive for the Convention Peoples Party (CPP) for Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency was inaugurated at Breman Asikuma on Sunday.

The Central Regional Chairman for the party, Mr Kwesi Asare, who performed the swearing-in ceremony, advised the members to do away with petty squabbles and close their ranks to win more members into the their fold.

He said the CPP would win the parliamentary seat in the constituency in the 2004 elections.

Mr Daniel Kofi Abekah was elected Chairman; Nana Marfo Ahenkorah, Vice Chairman; Mr Emmanuel T. Frempong, Secretary and Mr Kofi Mensah as Deputy Secretary. Mr Seth Prah was elected the Treasurer. The Women’s Organiser is Madam Victoria Antin.
