Accra, Aug. 11, GNA – The Convention Peoples Party (CPP), on Wednesday, congratulated the Government and People of Cuba on its 52nd anniversary of Cuban Revolution.
In a statement to the Ghana News Agency, signed by Dr Adolf Lutterodt, CPP Spokesperson for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration described the Cuban revolution as an important victory in the history of a people determined to take their destiny into their own hands, and liberate themselves under difficult conditions.
The CPP statement said Cuba’s achievement over the past 52 years has inspired many African countries with enthusiasm.
The CPP recounted that Ghana as a nation have benefited from Cuban medical doctors, who are assisting in improving health care in remote parts of the country.
