CPC “welcomes” kids to school with cocoa products

Tema Manhean, Sept. 13, GNA – Management of Cocoa Processing Company (CPC) on Tuesday put smiles on the faces of pupils of the Manhean Presbyterian Primary School, when it presented them with cocoa products to commemorate their “First Day at School Festival”. The day was instituted by the Ministry of Education to “welcome” children back to school on the first day after holidays.

The pupils of the school were presented with finished products including chocolate, pebbles and cocoa drinks.

Addressing them on parade, Mr Richard Amarh Tetteh, Managing Director of CPC, advised the children to be respectful to their parents and teachers.

Mr Tetteh held that the kids could realise their dream of becoming future leaders of this nation, only when they studied diligently to achieve academic excellence and laurels.

Nii Adjei Kraku II, Tema Mantse, advised the children to be law-abiding at all times.

Mr Tetteh later presented exercise books to class one pupils. Mrs Beatrice Anum, headteacher of the school, received the books and thanked the company.
