Court sentences two friends for stealing

Aflao, Sept. 13, GNA – The Aflao Circuit Court, on Monday sentenced two friends to a fine of 1.5 million cedis each or in default 24 months for stealing. David Kwadzovia, 19 and Kwame Hudonu, 18 were convicted on their own plea of attempted stealing and stealing. Prosecuting, Police Inspector Abraham Narh Tetteh, in charge of the Denu Police told the Court that the two accused persons broke into the room of a teacher at different times, in August this year, at Aflao at night and stole his food items and personal effects. Inspector Tetteh said the police picked up Kwadzovia and Hudonu on suspicion and a search conducted in their room led to the discovery of some of the missing items.
