Accra, June 29, GNA – An 18-year-old unemployed man, who pounced on his 19-year-old sister and satisfied his sexual appetite was on Wednesday remanded in custody by a Circuit Court in Accra. The teenager pleaded not guilty to incest and threat of death. He would reappear on July 18.

Police Chief Inspector Helena Sarpomsaa told the Court that the complainant and the accused person both lived with their grandmother in the same room at Accra New Town.

Chief Inspector Sarpomaa said at about 2330 hours on April 3, the complainant was asleep in their room when the accused person pounced on her and had sex with her.

The Prosecutor said the following day the young woman reported his brother’s conduct to their uncle.

Chief Inspector Sarpomaa stated that at about 1430 hours on April 4, the complainant went into their room to prepare for a bath, but her brother bumped into the room and attempt to have sex with her again.
