Court remands man for causing harm

Kumasi, Aug 2, GNA – A 21-year-old Kwadwo Mensah has been remanded in prison custody by a Kumasi circuit court for allegedly inflicting cutlass wounds on his relative. Mensah plea was not taken and will re-appear before on August 10. Police Chief Inspector Francis Kusi told the court presided over by Mr R.M. Kogyapwah that Kwaku Abankro, the victim is the relative of Mensah and they both lived at Asisiriwa near Kuntanase.

He said on July 31, both accused and victim visited their farm where a quarrel ensued between the two and a third person, one Kwame Danger that resulted in a fight. Mensah, who could not contain his anger, inflicted cutlass wounds on the victim and fled.
