Court remands man for allegedly sodomizing two-year-old boy

Accra, Oct. 11, GNA – An Accra Circuit Court presided by Mr S.K. Asiedu on Tuesday remanded a 23-year-old man for allegedly sodomizing a two-year-old boy.

The plea of Victor Obazee Emeka, a Nigerian, was not taken and he was remanded in Police custody to re-appear on October 25. Police Sergeant Lawrence Gbele told the Court that on September 27, the mother of the victim left him in the care of a woman, who lived in the same house with the accused.

Sergeant Lawrence Gbele said the accused lured the victim to a public bathhouse where he sodomized him.

The Prosecutor told the Court that the mother of the victim said she saw bruises around his anus, and when he was asked mentioned the accused person as the one who sodomized him. 11 Oct. 05
