Court remands 28-year-old man for indecent assault.

Tema, Sept. 09, GNA – The Tema Circuit Court ‘B’, has remanded a 28-year old man into custody for indecent assault.

Abdulai Alhassan, pleaded not guilty for indecently assaulting a 55-year- old woman at New Ningo on August 30, this year.

Prosecuting, Police Inspector Ben Agbedanu, told the Court presided over by Mr Stephen Teye, that the complainant traveled to the town to celebrate the annual Homowo Festival.

He said while the complainant was asleep in the night, the accused person entered her room and allegedly attempted to fondle her. Inspector Agbedanu said the woman woke up and raised the alarm leading to the arrest of Abdulai.
