Court issues warrant for arrest of female tenants

Nkawie (Ash), Feb 06, GNA – The Nkawie circuit court has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of all female tenants of a house at Sepaase near Abuakwa in the Atwima-Nwabiagya District for failing to appear before it.

The suspects were summoned to appear before it for living in unsanitary conditions. They were also alleged to have dumped faeces wrapped in polythene bags into an uncompleted building nearby.

Mr Austin Dubick, the District Environmental Health Officer, told the court that the suspects had persistently turned deaf ears to repeated advise to keep their surroundings clean.
