Court fines driver GH¢300 cedis for reckless driving

A 29-year-old driver, John Ntsin has been fined GH¢300 by a Tarkwa Circuit Court on his own plea for driving without due care and attention.

Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector Edward Paddy, told the court presided over by Mr Samuel Obeng Diawuo, that around 1630 hours on March 17, the convict was driving a taxi and was heading towards AngloGold Iduapriem Mining Company in Tarkwa.

He said on reaching the security gate, Ntsin failed to observe traffic regulation and ended up crashing into a vehicle.

Inspt Paddy said both vehicles got badly damaged but there were no casualty.

He said after investigation the convict was charged with the offense.**
