Court dismisses Kpegah’s suit against Akufo-Addo

A High Court in Accra on Thursday dismissed a suit filed by a former Justice of the Supreme Court, Francis Yaonasu Kpegah against 2012 flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo-Addo.

The former judge, who failed to show up in court the last time the case was called, had claimed Nana Akufo Addo is holding himself out as a lawyer when evidence available to him proves otherwise.

Nana Akufo-Addo filed an application in court calling for the case to be thrown out for lack of merit.

Meanwhile, a recent document from the General Legal Council, however, confirms Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo’s enrolment details on the role of lawyers.
