Court adjourns Nkawkaw Constituency NPP injunction case

Nkawkaw, May 23, GNA – An Nkawkaw Magistrate’s court presided over by Mr Samuel Kwabena Solomon has adjourned the injunction case on conducting the Nkawkaw Constituency New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries to June 2.

The two parties in the case were present at the crowded court for the motion for an application by Mr George Alhasan, a member of the party to disqualify Mr Seth Adjei-Baah, popularly known as Shaaba, a businessman from contesting the elections.

Mr Kwaku Baah, counsel for Alhasan, however, appealed for the adjournment because his client had just been served and needed time to study it.

It would be recalled that the court on May 16, placed an interim injunction on the primaries scheduled for May 17.
