Court adjourns DSP Tehoda’s reinstatement case

A Human Rights Court has adjourned the case involving an application for the reinstatement of Deputy Head of the Commercial Crimes Unit of the Police CID, DSP Gifty Tehoda to November 7.

The decision comes after the Lawyer for Mrs. Tehoda prayed the court to adjourn the case to pave way for a pending application to challenge the service initiated against her earlier.

DSP Tehoda is contesting her dismissal by the Ghana Police Service following her alleged involvement in the cocaine-turned-baking soda saga. She has since been discharged for lack of evidence by a Criminal court in Accra.
