Council of State Member visits Ahafo Ano North

Tepa (Ash), Nov. 7, GNA – Mr Ben Asonaba Dapaah, Ashanti Regional Representative of the Council of State, has stated that for members of the Council to discharge their constitutional responsibilities well, they should tour the country to interact with people to get first hand information on problems and development.

Mr Dapaah was addressing Departmental Heads and workers in the Ahafo Ano North at Tepa on Thursday, as part of his two-day working visit to the district.

He advised them to ensure that their personal interest did not conflict with their official functions and to work as a team for the development of the country as a whole and the district in particular. The workers appealed to the government to improve the road network in the district, upgrade the Tepa Hospital and to provide it with an ambulance.

Mr Dapaah inspected development projects and paid courtesy calls on the Paramount Chiefs of Tepa, Mabang and Manfo.
