Meanwhile, a high-powered delegation from Cote d’Ivoire is expected in Kumasi on Thursday, March 25 to pay their last respects to the Asantehene. A source close to the Funeral Planning Committee told the Ghana News Agency in Kumasi that a delegation from the family of the late Felix Houphouet Boigny, former President of Cote d’Ivoire, is also expected in Kumasi the same day. Other groups from Cote d’Ivoire expected are the Baoule, Sanwi and Brong, the source said.
