Controller and Accountant-General Postpones November Allowance Payments

The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has announced a rescheduling of two categories of allowances originally planned for payment in November 2025 due to a technical issue.

The department assured affected workers that the matter is being resolved and that the outstanding allowances will be paid together with December 2025 salaries on December 18, 2025.

A statement from Cephas N. Dosoo, Head of Public Relations at CAGD, explained that the allowances could not be processed because of a “technical hitch encountered during the final payroll run.”

To prevent any delays in the disbursement of November 2025 salaries for all government employees, the processing of these specific allowances was temporarily paused.
