Ho, Jan. 16, GNA – Chiefs in the Volta Region have appealed to those who appoint people to political offices to consult them first, instead of springing surprises on them with such appointments.
Togbe Afede XIV, President of the Volta Region House of Chiefs made the appeal on behalf of the Chiefs, at the first General meeting of the House, this year, in Ho.
He said the way such appointments were made encouraged the officials to disregard the Chiefs and people of the Region.
