Constructive criticism necessary for our development – Bishop

Rt. Rev. Francis Benjamin Quarshie, Bishop of the Koforidua Diocese of the Anglican Church, has called on Ghanaians to be bold to criticize their leaders and offer useful suggestions for them to take effective decisions.

He said such a position falls in line with those who saw the birth of Jesus Christ as the fulfillment of the prophesies in the Bible and, therefore, did everything possible to ensure the success of the mission of Jesus on earth.

Bishop Quarshie said this during his Christmas message to the congregation at the Saint Peter’s Anglican Cathedral at Koforidua.

He urged Ghanaians not to take a neutral position on national issues or the posture of Herold, who saw the presence of Jesus as a threat to his position and took a destructive position to protect his interest.

Rt Rev Quarshie urged all Christians to take active interest in next year’s elections and allow God to speak through them to decide His chosen leader for the country.
