Ghanaians in Nigeria received the news of the unexpected death of our dear President, Prof. John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills on Tuesday, 24th July, 2012 with great shock and sadness.

The National Association of Ghanaian Communities in Nigeria (NAGHACON), the umbrella Association of Ghanaians in Nigeria, on behalf of all Ghanaians in Nigeria wish to express our deepest condolences to our late President’s wife, his entire family and the people of Ghana for this mighty loss.

We join our country men and women at home and his family to mourn him. May he have a peaceful repose in the bosom of the Almighty Creator.
