Computer Theft At AG’s Office

News filtering into the offices of Free Press indicates that the offices of the Attorney General have been ransacked by some alleged unsuspected robbers.

Among the items the armed robbers bolted with were three computers with their accessories and some other valuable items running into several million of cedis.

Sources close to the Attorney General?s Department indicate that the incident which took place on Thursday night was detected in the early hours of Friday by some workers.

According to these workers, immediately one of the officers where the theft occurred was opened they saw the louvers opened so they became alarmed.

Meanwhile the workers have been asked to report at the Ministry police station to write their statements on the theft case. According to the sources, this is the second time the Attorney Genera?s Department has been ransacked. The first occurred somewhere in the latter part of last year.
