Awutu Bontrase (C/R), Nov 30, GNA – The people of Awutu Bontrase are constructing a 150- million cedi well to save them from water born diseases.
According to Nai Kukubeng, Chairman of the project planning committee, the project is being funded by a Muslim non-governmental organization whose name was not disclosed.
Addressing communal labour participants at the project site last Friday Nai Kukubeng advised them to sustain the self-help spirit they have cultivated.
On the December 7 general elections, Nai Kukubeng charged people in the area, particularly the registered voters, to ensure massive participation in the polls.
He cautioned them against electoral malpractices, saying that the law would not spare them if caught.
Nai Kukubeng stressed the need for eligible voters to comport themselves very well on the election day to make the exercise absolutely peaceful.
