Communities in Ga West get new herbal centre

Djanman, March 25, GNA – Members of Sumsum Herbal Centre at Djanman near Amasaman in the Ga West District of the Greater Accra Region are constructing a new herbal centre at the cost of about 20,000 Ghana cedis. The centre is to help solve the health problems of communities in the area, Nii Amo Darko, in charge of the Sumsum Herbal centre said on Tuesday. He said so far, an amount of 15,000 Ghana cedis had been spent on the project, which was at a lintel level. Nii Amo Darko, also a member of the Ghana National Healers Association conducted the Ghana News Agency round to inspect the project. He said communities such as Pokuase, Djanman, Afiaman, Amasaman, Nsakyi, Mayera and Adusah would be treated for snake bite, guinea-worm and malaria at the centre. He called on herbal practitioners who had not yet registered with the Association to do so now and assist to put up the centre.
