Committee To Ensure Safety In Transport Sector To Be Set Up

The government is setting up a National Road Safety commission to serve as a long term basis for the attainment of safety within the transport sector. Enough funds will also be provided to the Commission through the road fund to be established to ensure a sustainable road safety programme in the country. The Deputy Minister of Road and Transport, Mr.. Steve Akorli announced these when he launched this year’s National Road Safety Campaign in Kumasi.
