The late speaker, a native of La in Accra, was also the Akyeampehene of Abiriw in the Eastern Region. Mr Jones Kugblenu, Director of Public Affairs at Parliament, told the press that the planning committee for the funeral was made up of family members, staff of Parliament and Members of Parliament.
