Commemoration of Adu Boahen’s death starts Wednesday

Accra, May 29, GNA – The one-week commemoration the death of Prof. Albert Adu Boahen, the renounced historian and politician who died on May 24, would be held at his residence on Wednesday.

A statement signed by Nana Ohene-Ntow, General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), said a committee chaired by Dr Donkor Fordwuor, a close associate of the late Prof. Adu Boahen, had been formed to plan the burial and funeral ceremonies.

The Committee is made up of family members and friends of the late Prof. Adu Boahen, the National Chairman and General Secretary of the NPP.

He died on May 24 at the 37 Military Hospital aged 74.
