Come to the headquarters if you are a man – PNC dares Atik

Suspended General Secretary of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Atik Mohammed has been dared to come to the party’s headquarters and attempt taking over seat if indeed he is still the Chief Scribe.

“If he says he is still the General Secretary of the party, I am daring him to come to the National Headquarters and attempt taking his seat in the office, it is from there that we will know if indeed he has been suspended or not”, Director of Communications for the People’s National Convention (PNC), Emmanuel Wilson dared.

The National Executive Committee of the party indefinitely suspended him after a meeting on Saturday on grounds of misconduct in relation to his comments about the appointment of party leader, Dr Edward Nasigri Mahama as an Ambassador-at-large.

But he has since responded to the claims saying “I’m still the General Secretary of the People’s National Convention until we go to Congress. There is even confusion in what people are communicating. Some said I’ve been suspended for my misbehavior towards the appointment of Mr. Mahama which we did not even get the opportunity to discuss.

“In anyway what do they mean by misbehavior towards his appointment and for which reason some group of people will sit there and say they are handing me a suspension. They do not have that competence so I will treat it as the joke that it deserves and continue to perform my duties.

But the leadership of the party is daring him to try and occupy his seat at the headquarters and will know his true fate as to whether he has been suspended or not.
