Collapsed building kills farmer, 22

A 22-year-old farmer has been killed by a collapsed building.

Kofi Jerry died at Barikuma in the Atwima Nwabiagya District of the Ashanti Region on Saturday, March 12, when the red sand structure caved in on him during a rainstorm.

Class News’ regional correspondent, Frank Jackson, reports that the one-hour downpour was accompanied by strong winds.

The bloody body of the deceased was found Sunday morning under the debris. It had sustained deep cuts. The police have conveyed it to the mortuary.
