The Coalition of Domestic Election Observers (CODEO) will on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, observe the by-election to be organized by the Electoral Commission (EC) in the Buem Constituency of the Volta Region.
CODEO will deploy 19 observers to selected polling stations throughout the constituency.
The observers will observe various aspects of the voting process including the set-up and opening of polling stations, the application/compliance to voting procedures, conduct of polling officials, party agents and security officials, and the counting and declaration of results, among others.
CODEO will share its observation findings with the public at the end of the exercise.
