Nchiraa (B/A), June 20, A – Nana Amponsah Kwaku Gyeabour alias Mr Joseph Djan, a 57-year-old district co-operative officer at Offinso in Ashanti, has been installed chief of Nchiraa, near Wenchi, in the Brong Ahafo region. He succeeds Nana Tabiri Kwaku who was destooled recently. Addressing a durbar in his honour, Nana Amponsah called on the people to come together to develop the area. He called on non-resident citizens to visit home regularly and assist in the development of the town. He also called for co-operation between chiefs and the youth to ensure peace and tranquillity.
