Clergy’s critique of governments, not needless intrusions-Lodonu

Ho, Dec 25, GNA – Most Reverend Francis Anani Lodonu, Bishop of the Ho Diocese of the Catholic Church has urged governments not to regard the clergy’s critique of governance issues as needless intrusions.

He said neither should they (governments) and their supporters give political connotations to such commentaries.

Bishop Lodonu was delivering the yuletide homily at the Sacred Heart Parish of the Roman Catholic Church at Bankoe, in Ho on Sunday.

He observed with regret, the over politicization of issues in Ghana, so much that, every comment, incident or suggestion, was seen through the prism of political rivalry.
