Accra, June 20, GNA – Reverend Philip Tutu, General Overseer of the International Christian Ministry, has called on political parties to bury their differences and unite to ensure national development. He said now that the elections were over, there was the need for political parties to unite and champion the cause of unity and stability for a better Ghana. Rev. Tutu made the call at the opening of a three-day seminar, organized by the Church in Accra on Saturday.
About 100 participants are attending the seminar which is under the theme: “discovering, developing and developing your shape for ministry.” It is aimed at helping the participants to develop their spiritual gift, abilities, personalities and experiences, and also equip them to face the challenges ahead. Rev. Tutu also called on churches to develop a mechanism which would help to check cyber fraud. He urged the youth to desist from the ‘get-rich-quick’ attitude and be addicted to the word of God which he said was more than riches. The General Overseer advised parents to take active interest in the education of their children to enable them to grow to become useful citizens.
