Clean environment would add value to celebrations – Apostle

Accra, Jan. 14, GNA – Apostle Schambach Amanianpong, Head of Christian Redemption International Centre, has appealed to Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies to promote a thoroughly clean environment to add value to the celebration of 50 years of Ghana’s Independence to facilitate investments.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Accra at the weekend, he said the fanfare and other activities planned, would be meaningless when the assemblies failed to desilt choked gutters and solved unsightly environmental problems that were at variance with objectives of the celebrations.

“Investments and its laurels required conscious efforts to improve on conditions in the environment and I hope officials at Ghana @ 50 Secretariat and other stakeholders would live up to expectation,” he said.
