A pupil of Akyem old tafo presby primary school in the Abuakwa north constituency of the eastern region by name Aaron Boateng has been found dead in a well this morning. The body of the 8-year old class one pupil was found by a neighbour who went to fetch water from the well. Reports says he was sacked from school because he owns extra classes fee of four cedis.
Father of the deceased, Kofi Kwapong, has expressed shocked at the attitude of the teacher for sacking the deceased because of school fees but said he is yet to meet school authorities.
“Tomorrow wednesday is a holiday so I’m hoping to meet the teacher on the issu” the father emphasised.
Meanwhile the body has been deposited at Akyem Tafo government hospital for autopsy and investigations.
