CJ didn’t leak info about Supreme Court Panel —Titus Glover

The Member of Parliament for Tema East Titus Glover has denied receiving privileged information from the Chief Justice about the Justices who were to be empanelled on the election fraud case.

A day before the Court’s first sitting; Titus Glover who is a member of the opposition New Patriotic Party’s Communication team was heard on radio raising reservations about the likelihood of Justice Atuguba being on the nine-member panel.

The first-time MP’s reason was that Justice Atuguba’s relationship with the President’s recently- appointed Executive Secretary Dr. Raymond Atuguba gives ground for likely bias on the part of the Judge.

Titus Glover has received a lot of flak for raising issues with Justice William Atugaba’s membership of the Bench.

He has also been accused of benefitting from leaked information about the panel of Justices from the Chief Justice.

But speaking on Breakfast XYZ, he said nothing of the sort happened.

“What I said was that, am looking at the timing and appointment of Raymond Atuguba and the fact that his uncle or relative is going to sit on this crucial case.

“On moral grounds in case he is going to sit on this matter in my opinion I would have loved that he stays out of this case” Titus Glover said.
