Citizens of Kofisah launch four-year development plan

The chiefs and people of Kofisah, near Nsawam in the Eastern Region, have launched a four-year development plan for the area.

Nana Abegya II, Chief of Kofisah, said the GHC400,000 project includes the sinking of bore holes, establishment of educational structures and the provision of places of convenience.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, Nana Abegya II said the projects would be supported with communal labour and self-help contributions of GHC50.00 per male, GHC20 a female, whilst non-residents would pay GHC100.00.

Nana Kwaabea II, Queenmother of the town, offered land for the projects.

She appealed to the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly and the Member of Parliament, Mr Frank Annor Dompreh to support them in their efforts.
