Citizens Of Keta District Under Threat

The citizens of Kedzi, Vodza and Adzido in the Keta District of the Volta Region are again being threatened by the sea. Latest reports say last week people had to battle the high flood waters to recover their personal belongings, while economic activities have come to a standstill. The Assemblymember for Vodza, Mr.. Chaka Kwame Kukubor, who inspected the extent of damage caused to property, expressed the people’s disappointment at the delay in executing the Keta Sea Defence Project. He appealed to the government to take steps to ensure that the project takes off to save the people from the ravages of the sea.
