Citizens donate towards development

Busunya (B/A), June 19, GNA – Two United States based citizens of Busunya in the Nkoranza District have donated 10 million cedis as their contribution to the completion of development projects in the area. They are Mr. Frank Owusu-Danso and Mr Osei Frimpong.

Mr Emmanuel Opoku-Wiafe, the Chairman of the town’s projects implementation committee, told the GNA that the said the people’s priority need was water and the committee had used 7.2 million cedis out of the amount to purchase a large poly tank towards the mechanisation of the water system in the area.

He expressed gratitude to the donors and called on other well-to-do citizens to also assist in the development of the area.
