CID clarifies today if Castro is dead or alive

The Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service will address a press conference today (Monday) to bring clarity on the search for missing hiplife artiste Castro and female companion Janet Bandu.

The two went missing on July 6 during a Jet Ski accident at Ada in the Greater Accra region.

Marine Police have been scouring the seas for nearly three months in search of the two but to no avail.

Speculations have been rife that Theophilus Tagoe (Castro) is still alive but in hiding.

There were rumours he drifted ashore a beach in neighbouring Togo, but being hidden by security agencies.

Some celebrities including Akoo Nana and Funny Face say they believe Castro is still alive.

His father was recently quoted by some reports to have said he deemed his son as just missing rather than dead.

The CID is expected to lay all the facts bare on the table when it addresses the media, Monday, about the whereabouts of Castro and Bandu.
