CIAMC calls for high ethical standards among professionals

Ho, July 13, GNA – Mr Samuel Mawusi Asafo, Volta Regional Executive Secretary of the Chartered Institute of Administration and Management Consultants (CIAMC) Ghana, on Tuesday expressed the need for high ethical standards among professionals to promote the country’s corporate sector.

This he said calls for a new crop of professionals to help manage and improve the economy through efficient management at all levels. Mr Asafo was speaking at a Press Conference at Ho to introduce CIAMC’s professional training programmes, which will be launched in the Region on July 21, this year.

He said the CIAMC, has for almost three years now, taken up the mantle of providing various courses to practising professionals and managers to enable them to become professional administrators. Mr Asafo said within three-and-half years, a candidate, could progress from the Foundation and Intermediate levels to the Professional stage by following the required regimen conscientiously.

He explained that the programmes were opened to graduates and post- graduates from the universities and other tertiary schools and the Senior Secondary Schools.

Mr Asafo said most of the Chief Executives of public and private institutions belonged to the CIAMC, adding that in future professional qualification would influence the appointment of administrators and Managers.
